July 2016

Emrys

True freedom is where an individual’s thoughts and actions are in alignment with that which is true, correct, and of honor – no matter the personal price.

July 4th marks 240 years of service by the United States Armed Forces in the defense of American freedom.  No one is better suited to be a symbol of July than an American Soldier.  It was with that notion in mind that this month’s calendar symbol was chosen at the beginning of the year.

Mr. July is brash, lewd, and political correctness is definitely not his strong suit, but he is one of the first in the guild to take a stand for what is right and just.  He has served our nation in the defense of others for many years in the United States Army and the United States Marine Corps.  He is a symbol of strength, integrity, and honor.

I ask each of you during this holiday celebration to please thank our troops when you see them.  Unselfish and noble actions are the most radiant pages in the biography of souls.  Please remember that a soldier doesn’t fight because they hate what is in front of them, a soldier fights because they love what is behind them.

With that being said; let me introduce the Devil Dog of Iron Knights, Mr. July himself.
